Why Does Polyester Feel Hot? Understanding Fabric Breathability
Polyester does not automatically feel hot: air permeability, moisture transport, fabric structure and fit all influence how heat and sweat are handled. Research comparing clothing systems shows that even polyester garments can produce different microclimates depending on their construction.
